Item: 4 oz Recycled Combed Wool Top Roving, 26-29 micron.

This heathered, recycled wool roving is eco-friendly and sustainable! It can be used for felting, spinning, weaving, tapestries, art batts, and other craft and fiber art projects. 

It can be a bit tricky for wet felting. If you’re an experienced feltmaker, then you shouldn’t have a problem. I recommend going slow, using room temperature felting solution, and thin shingles. I also found I needed to add more soap than I usually do after the prefelt stage. Before making a large project, I do recommend making a sample first to see how it responds to your particular felting methods.

• Contents: 90% Wool, 10% Other. (Due to the nature of recycling wool, a small percentage of other recycled fibers may be present.)

• Staple Length: 75-90mm

• 4 oz = approximately 5+ yards in length
